Submitting an article
To submit an article to our journal, first read the information in the author's guide section. Use the sample article template for the article. If you have questions, you can contact us.
1. Editorial Responsibility
The Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors are responsible for ensuring the academic quality, integrity, and ethical standards of all content published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior Studies. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with ethical standards.
Editors evaluate manuscripts without discrimination based on authors’ gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, political views, or personal characteristics.
2. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
The peer review process aims to ensure:
Scientific rigor
Methodological soundness
Original contribution to the field
Ethical compliance
Editors have full authority over the acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts.
3. Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal must ensure that:
The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere
All sources are properly cited
All listed authors have made a significant scholarly contribution
Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly avoided
Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for copyrighted materials and for complying with ethical standards related to research involving human participants, if applicable.
4. Plagiarism Policy
The journal has a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical citation practices will be rejected outright or retracted if detected after publication.
5. Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or editorial decision-making process.
If a conflict of interest is identified, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure impartial evaluation.
6. Research Misconduct
Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to:
Plagiarism
Data fabrication or falsification
Redundant or duplicate publication
Unethical research practices
Allegations of misconduct are investigated following established ethical guidelines. When misconduct is confirmed, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.
7. Complaints and Appeals
Authors have the right to submit complaints or appeals regarding editorial decisions.
All complaints are handled fairly, transparently, and confidentially by the editorial team.
Appeals must be based on substantive academic or ethical grounds.
8. Retraction and Correction Policy
The journal follows internationally recognized standards for corrections and retractions.
Articles may be corrected or retracted in cases of:
Proven research misconduct
Significant errors affecting the validity of findings
Ethical violations
Retraction notices will clearly state the reasons and will remain permanently accessible.
9. Ethical Standards
The Journal of Organizational Behavior Studies adheres to internationally accepted ethical principles and aligns its practices with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
